The Vanguard Brewpub and Distillery recently released their new Caiseal Beer and Spirits Co. Bourbon Whiskey aged for 13 months in charred American oak barrels with smooth flavors of toasted vanilla, sweet corn and rye spice. The newest spirit joins their lineup of Caiseal Vodka, Caiseal Gin and the Caiseal Single Malt. The Bourbon Whiskey can be purchased by the bottle or by the glass at The Vanguard Brewpub and Distillery in Hampton and at local ABC stores.
Caiseal Beer and Spirit Co.’s small batch spirits are distilled on location in a 1000-liter copper pot still within a nationally registered historic armory built in 1936. The name, Caiseal, is the Gaelic term for “Ring fortress.”
