Bold Rock Hard Cider is expanding on its cider producing operations with the new addition of the Bold Rock Barrel Barn to the Nellysford Campus, which is expected to be open in October of 2017.
The Barrel Barn will be home for small batch production and barrel aged ciders, and visitors will be able to try rare styles exclusive to the new area’s tap room. It will also have large windows providing a look inside at production, a wrap around patio and interior seating for guests to relax and enjoy the new ciders.
The Barrel Barn will be open on weekends, along with an entertainment and food truck schedule on Friday and Saturdays. It will also remain open while the main Bold Rock Cider Barn is closed for private events.
“The Barrel Barn is a wonderful development for our Nellysford Campus, a project that breathes additional vibrancy into an already world class guest experience,” says Lindsay Dorrier III, vice president of retail operations. “We intend for the Barrel Barn to really cater to those that want a deeper dive into the craft of hard cider production while also allowing for more casual guests to enjoy our Farm in a new intriguing dinnertime dynamic.”
