Bold Rock hops on the hard seltzer bandwagon by adding two all-natural Grapefruit and Cucumber Melon cans to its robust collection of fruit-forward libations. The sparkling beverages crafted with real fruit and Blue Ridge Mountain water will hit select shelves in Virginia and Western North Carolina on June 10.
Bold Rock Co-Founder Brian Shanks says the addition of seltzers has been in the works for quite some time. “Nearly a year of research and development led our liquids team to an innovative approach that allows for significant breakthroughs in quality and taste. Alcohol from real fruit and all-natural ingredients form the foundation of Bold Rock Hard Seltzer while our process imparts a perfect finish to each sip,” he says. “We can’t wait to share this line of refreshments with both new friends and old as we launch into the rapidly expanding hard seltzer category.”
The handcrafted Grapefruit seltzer presents a pleasant citrus profile while the Cucumber Melon boasts a juicy melon body complemented by sips of crisp cucumber. Both styles are gluten-free and weigh in at just 82 calories with 1 gram of sugar per 12-ounce serving.
The Bold Rock team also hints at exclusive tap releases before the seltzers’ canned debut in June.
