On Feb. 5, Bold Rock Hard Cider will expand its line of seasonal ciders with a new, wine-inspired release—Rosé Hard Cider. Rosé is Bold Rock’s first seasonal release of 2018 and is brimming with crisp, spring flavors.
“We are always looking for ways to be creative and innovative with cider,” explains Bold Rock’s head cidermaker, Ian Niblock, “Taking inspiration from wine has afforded us a lot of flexibility in the craft cider world, and with Rosé we’ve created a versatile cider that will please both our core enthusiasts and those that enjoy light, refreshing styles of wine.
The flavor profile of Rosé Hard Cider is akin to the pink bubbly, dominating the palate with fruit-forward flavors and a crisp berry finish. Bold Rock’s archetypal apple base is incorporated as well, emphasizing the vibrancy and presence of Rosé’s berry-filled body.
