Brothers Craft Brewing Announces 2020 Resolute Weekend

By:
Brothers Craft Brewing Resolute Weekend

Brothers Craft Brewing will be holding its seventh annual Resolute Weekend, Nov. 13-15. This event marks Brothers Craft Brewing’s largest release of each year, which is centered around its award-winning and nationally known Bourbon Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout and six variants of this annual offering.

The weekend kicks off on Friday with “Sour Hour.” The taproom will open at 1 p.m. with 14 taps pouring a variety of beer styles, many of which focus on Sour Ales that have been brewed over the year or aged from past years. In addition to enjoying a pint and food from local food truck Flavor Savor BBQ, guests will receive their Resolute Release Day wristband, which will secure their place in line for when Resolute bottles go on sale on Saturday.

Brothers Craft Brewing Resolute releaseResolute Release Day kicks off on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with 14 taps flowing, including Resolute, its variants and a wide array of other dark, delicious beers with other more sessionable styles available, such as an annual Double IPA released the week before. Food vendors will be onsite offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options, with Flavor Savor BBQ available all day and Mashita serving lunch and dinner.

The weekend ends with Resolute Hangover Sunday. The Grill Sergeant’s Smoke Pit will be set up for lunch and dinner with the taproom closing at 8 p.m.

Resolute bottles go on sale at noon with attendees getting their opportunity to purchase these limited releases in small groups based on the number on their wristband. Limits are set to help ensure as many guests get an opportunity to purchase each offering as possible; however, beers sell out quickly.

Brothers Craft Brewing is committed towards adapting this year’s release to be in compliance with Phase 3 of Governor Northam’s Forward Virginia plan. The event will be in Brothers’ outdoor space with the taproom being used for draft pours and restroom services. The outdoor space will incorporate a strict occupancy, a large outdoor area, social distancing, mask requirements, multiple draft locations and hand sanitizer stations, among other measures, to allow attendees the ability to enjoy themselves safely while protecting all staff and BCB employees.
