Casanel Vineyards and Winery in Leesburg was recently awarded a Gold medal and Best of Class for their 2016 Estate Petit Verdot in the Petit Verdot Category at the 2019 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition.
Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association’s annual wine competition is the largest in the nation focused exclusively on the wines on the East Coast. This year over 400 entries were judged with 26 best of class winners and with Casanel’s 2016 Petit Verdot winning Best in Class.
