The Tides Inn commemorates autumn’s arrival with a two-part fall wine dinner series. For the Irvington resort’s first dinner on Monday, Oct. 28, the Tides joins forces with the Staunton-based Ox Eye Vineyards for an evening of coastal cuisine and Virginia vines.
Hosting the progressive dining experience is recently appointed Executive Chef Alex Pasco. Pasco invites guests to imbibe and indulge in a five-course meal hosted in three of the property’s creekside dining venues.
The October dinner bids adieu to the savors of Virginia Wine Month and begins with its first pairing in the nostalgic Chesapeake Restaurant. Additional courses follow with a family-style supper served on the al fresco Overlook, pairing delectable dishes with sweeping Carter’s Creek views. The evening concludes in View Room for the final dessert and wine pairing.
The Tides’ second dinner is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 25.
