Strawberry season is officially underway in Virginia. Instead of picking fresh strawberries, sip them with Belle Isle’s new Strawberry Matcha moonshine.
The Richmond-based distillery’s newest release combines their award-winning premium moonshine with real strawberry and authentic matcha green tea to create a “fresh and uplifting infusion.” Belle Isle Strawberry Matcha is 70 proof (35% ABV) and gluten free.
This limited-edition release is only available in Belle Isle’s Online Distillery Store.
Fresa Margarita Recipe made with Belle Isle Strawberry Matcha

Ingredients
2 oz. Belle Isle Strawberry Matcha
½ oz. triple sec
½ oz. agave syrup
¾ oz. lime juice
Method
If using a salted rim, use a lime wedge to wet one side of your glass and dip in kosher salt. Set aside. Add Belle Isle, triple sec, agave syrup, lime juice and ice to a shaker. Shake, then strain into your rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
