Virginia Beach’s innovative craft brewery, Reaver Beach Brewing Co., recently opened a second Coastal Virginia location in Norfolk. Reaver Beach Brewing Co. NFK officially opened on Saturday, Feb. 19.
“Consumers across the Tide Water Region have been waiting for easier access to our innovative and award winning craft beers,” partners Marty and Christine Esthay and Mark Adkins said in a statement. “The additional brewery will generate more seasonal and specialty beers that are only available in our Norfolk taproom.”
The new Reaver Beach location is at 3800 Colley Ave., the site of a former historic post office. The second location boasts a large taproom and new pilot brewing system to produce new beers.
“We have completed extensive renovations to preserve the old Colley Av. post office to deliver a fun and inviting experience for craft beer lovers in the Norfolk region.,” said general manager Josh Bennett.
The Norfolk location is also equipped with a pilot brew house, mezzanine for private events, arcade games and outdoor seating.
