Charlottesville-based Square One Organic Spirits introduced a collection of handcrafted, certified organic ready-to-drink canned cocktails. Square One, the company that pioneered the concept of organic vodka and botanical spirits over 15 years ago, released a new, ultra-premium organic spirit that encourages consumers to #TakeMeWithYou.
“Consumers – particularly Millennials and Gen Z – are increasingly conscious about what they are drinking, and they are attracted to the certified organic ingredients and lack of artificial flavorings that are core to the DNA of all Square One products,” Allison Evanow, founder and CEO of Square One Organic Spirits, said in a press release.
Evanow, a graduate of the University of Virginia, is one of the first women in the industry to found, fund and manage her own spirit brand.
Square One’s organic cocktails are carefully crafted from the purest ingredients, using organic vodka, real juice, botanical extracts, cane sugar and no artificial preservatives. The 12-ounce canned cocktails come in four flavors: Pear of Roses, Basil Berry Fizz, Mediterranean Pearl and Cucumber Therapy, a best-seller, and they’re all 7.5% ABV.
The lightly carbonated cocktails are refreshing sippers with more sweetness and flavor than your typical canned cocktail.
“Our consumer wants a light but complex tasting cocktail, not a hard seltzer with one flavor, and certainly not a flimsy diet version of an original,” said Evanow. “Convenience doesn’t have to be boring.”
