The Inn at Little Washington received a 98.75 rating from leading French restaurant guide, La Liste, making the humble eatery the fifth highest ranked restaurant in the world and the third highest in North America for 2019. The Inn was also recognized with three stars by The Guide Michelin.
Each year, La Liste curates a list of the top 1,000 best restaurants in the world using a variety of review sources including The Guide Michelin, The Forbes Travel Guide, the Zagat Survey and online customer remarks. This year, The Inn jumped 2.35 points from last year’s 96.4 rating.
“All of us here are delighted with this exciting news and the dramatic forward momentum,” says Patrick O’Connell, chef and proprietor of The Inn.
In addition to its La Liste accolade, The Inn is recognized as the longest tenured Forbes 5 Star restaurant in the nation. The Washington-based eatery has also been granted five James Beard Awards, including titles as Best Restaurant in America and Best Chef in the U.S., and received three stars from Michelin in the 2019 Washington, D.C.
