Three Crosses Distilling Company, a family- and veteran-owned craft distillery in the historic village of Powhatan, was awarded multiple gold medals for their craft spirits at the 2020 Craft Competition International Awards.
Three Crosses American Whiskey received Gold in the “American Whiskey” category. This is the first gold medal for their whiskey, however, their whiskey has won numerous other awards, including: Best of Virginia 2019, silver at the 2020 World Whiskey Awards in London, U.K. and silver at the 2019 Sunset International Spirit Competition.
Three Crosses’ Crossed Rifles Spiced Rum also received a gold medal in the spiced rum category. This is the spiced rum’s second gold medal, including Gold at the 2020 U.S. Spirit Open Championships.
With these most recent awards, Three Crosses Distilling now boasts nearly two dozen national and international awards across their entire product lineup since opening their doors in 2018. These impressive achievements place Three Crosses Distilling Company as one of the most decorated new distilleries in the state of Virginia.
