The Williamsburg Winery announced that a volunteer review committee selected Maureen Mains as the winner of its first military spouses giveaway at the Winery. Mains was among 66 people nominated in the promotion, which launched in November 2019 during National Military Families Month.
As the winning military spouse, Mains and a guest will receive a two-night stay in the Venetian Suite at Wedmore Place, The Williamsburg Winery’s onsite hotel. They will also be treated to a chef’s tasting menu dinner at Café Provencal, lunch at Gabriel Archer Tavern, breakfast and a private tour of the winery with Williamsburg Winery Founder and Chairman Patrick Duffeler. Mains has moved along with her husband 16 times during his 30-year career.
Additionally, every military spouse nominated during the promotion also received a gift certificate for lunch at the winery’s tavern and a tour of the farm.
