Virginia Breweries Rock (and Roll) with Live Music This Spring and Summer

While most traditional live music venues may still be closed and larger events are just starting to come back online, Virginia breweries are getting into the normal-ish swing of things by hosting live music (with COVID safety measures) this spring and summer.

Here are just a few of the breweries around the state serving up a little guitar and drums with their pints and plates.*

2 Silos Brewing Co.
Farm Brew Live at Innovation Park, a destination brewery campus home to 2 Silos Brewing Co., host bands and musicians from around the mid-Atlantic region year-round. During the warmer months, catch local and regional acts on the Yard soundstage, Wednesday through Sunday.

Big Lick Brewing Company
Downtown Roanoke’s popular Big Lick Brewing kicked off live music in 2021 with a performance by Josuah Eadie & The Common Wealth and it’s a fairly safe bet there will be plenty of sounds to go with the sights (that mural for starters) and suds this season.

Big Ugly Brewing
Spend your weekend with music from artists like Doc Perkins, Jacob Vanko and Rob Synder at Big Ugly Brewing. The brewery will have live music every Friday and Saturday night, and possibly Thursdays and Sundays as COVID restrictions ease. O’Connor Brewing Co.
If it’s Saturday, there’s good chance there’s live music on tap at the home of El Guapo Agave IPA in Norfolk. Food trucks too. Lena Klett, Troy Breslow and Glasgow Kiss were just a few artists listed on their roster this spring.
