Bold Rock Hard Cider in Nellysford kicks off Virginia Cider Week with the launch of their new seasonal spiced cider, Orchard Frost. Orchard Frost has been taste-tested in Virginia taprooms for nearly two years and is finally ready to make its debut on shelves across the East Coast.
“Making Orchard Frost available at retailers throughout our distribution footprint was the logical next step,” explains Lindsay Dorrier III, vice president of retail operations at Bold Rock Hard Cider. “We can’t wait for those yet to experience this delicious seasonal [cider] to see what the fuss is about.”
Bold Rock’s winter-inspired Orchard Frost cider is made with locally grown apples from Nellysford’s nearby Blue Ridge Mountains. The cider’s tart apple flavor is complemented by warm hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, vanilla and caramel—a saccharine combination that truly captures the flavors and aromas of cooler weather.
